All stages of our work undergo regular inspections to ensure compliance with the project specification and is then handed over to our customer in the knowledge that the work has been monitored at all stages.

In addition, we have a fully documented corrective action procedure for the few occasions where things don’t quite work out as planned.  Our customers can be assured that we will quickly respond to puts things right and implement changes in procedures to prevent re-occurrence.

Project Management

We have found that building managers have become increasingly frustrated with having to get quotations from multi-specialist painting contractors before placing work orders in good faith only to find themselves acting as project manager, health and safety officer and crew supervisor for the duration of the project.

All our site managers hold SSSTS, first aid and advanced CSCS cards, and every crew member must hold all relevant cards for job specific tasks.

We will meet you on site to do a full survey and measure of the project before supplying you with a comprehensive specification, bill of quantities and a fixed cost.

We will plan and oversee the timely delivery of your project while ensuring adherence to the contractual, environmental, health, safety, and CDM 2015 regulations.

WORKING TOGETHER

We will record the details of anybody else working on the job, including specialist companies and labourers.

Explain how we will communicate with others (e.g. via a daily update), provide information about the job, coordinate our work with theirs and keep them updated of any changes:

  • To site rules to health and safety information.
  • What we will do if the plan or materials change or if there are any delays.
  • Inform them of who will be making the key decisions about how the work is to be done.

PLAN

We will make a note of the key dates.

  • When we’ll start and finish.
  • When services will be connected/disconnected.

We will need to find out information from the client about the property.

  • Where the services and isolation points are.
  • Access restriction to the property.
  • If there is any asbestos present.

ORGANISE

We will need to Identify the main dangers on site and how you will control them.

  • The need for scaffolding if working at height.
  • How we will prevent exposure to asbestos and building dust.
  • How we will keep the site safe and secure for your client, their family and members of the public.
  • We will make sure that there is toilet, washing and rest facilities on site for IPC Crew members.
